Registration for the #1 Best Trader Competition is being offered at a special early bird rate of $75 per participant from April 17th, 2019 and during the Bootcamp period of May 1st to May 27th 2019. However entrants will still have the option to enter the challenge 1 week before the Trading Challenge month begins at a rate of $100 per participant allowing registration up to June 3rd at 9:00 AM EST.

Market Trading day begins Monday, June 3rd until the last business day on June 28th .

Trades during the month of May will be not counted towards the challenge as each contestant's accounts buying power may or not be reset daily. The trading competition will commence on June 3rd at 9:30 AM EST in which contestant simulated account will be set with $100,000 USD in virtual buying power to begin trading over the month. Over the course of the month, each contestant's daily balance and profit & loss will be broadcast in real-time on our Ranking leaderboard. At the end of the month, the trader with the highest p/l will be the 1st place winner. Any updated listing of the standings will be posted daily by 9:00 am EST.
Trading will be allowed once the market is open, whether it is regular market hours (9:30am – 4:00 pm EST), pre- market(8:00 am – 9:30am EST) or the after-market (4:00 pm – 6:30 pm EST).
Account which reflects no trading up to 14 days after the month begins will be closed and terminated from the competition. Any account which drops below 0 equity while holding positions intra-day will be liquidated and not permitted to continue trading.
This competition allows you to trade any Listed equities, ETFs and options (Pinksheets, futures, bonds, ADFs and forex are not part of this competition). Equities includes all stocks listed on Nasdaq, NYSE, AMEX along with Options on Nasdaq's securities.
- Individuals may not hold short and long positions in the same stock at the same time.
- May not trade low Float securities (Stocks which has less than 5% outstanding shares to FLOAT ratio)
- May not trade Unshortable stocks (Stocks may be added if it can be barrowed per request)
- This is an Equities/ETFs and Options trading competition. Futures, E-minis etc will not be permitted. You may buy, sell, sell short and cover almost all NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX stocks (common and preferred).
- Individuals may not hold short and long positions in the same stock at the same time.
- Writing Naked Option is not allowed
A commission rate of $3.95 is applied to all transactions. Commission will be charged to both opening and closing transactions. This fee comes out of your paper trading competition account.
ECN fees will be charged at 0.003/share for removing liquidity, and 0.002/share rebated if liquidity is added. Please note that if a limit order is a marketable limit order it will removes liquidity such as a range order since it will place an order to trigger at the bid and ask. In order to add liquidity the order need to be either above bid or below ask.
Individuals wishing to be eligible to be declared winners must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 Years old.
- Must have an email address.
- Possess a valid photo ID.
- Must have necessary approval to travel freely in the US (valid VISA or US persons)

Prizes may be claimed up to 30 days after the official announcement of the winners of the competition. If after 30 days a prize is not claimed then the prize cannot be awarded as it has become null and void.
